WHO WE ARE

Montana Native Women's Coalition is committed to ending violence against women and children.

Our organization was incorporated with the State of Montana in 2007 and received its nonprofit Sec. 501(c)(3).

We are committed to ending violence in tribal communities by working closely with Tribal programs, representatives, and communities to raise awareness, improve access to resources, and improve communications between all systems- Tribal, State and Federal.

We serve as liaison to the Montana State Legislature, policy makers, and stakeholders to inform them of the needs of Tribal communities and needed changes for victims and their children.

OUR MISSION:

To improve urban, rural, and Native American community responses to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Montana Native Women's Coalition has added purpose of bringing together Native American leaders and representatives from state agencies that manage and administer state and federal funding for domestic violence and programming in Montana, to improve coordination, access, and resources for native women and tribal programs.

While our administrative offices are located in Billings, Montana, we provide services throughout the state of Montana.

We are a 501(c)(3) Native nonprofit organization.  Contributions are tax deductible.  We appreciate your support!
